Building 3 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
More than 200 people joined us at the Quad-Cities Campus for the Building 3 Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Celebration in September 2024. The event brought together current BHC students and employees as well as alumni, college retirees, former trustees and members of the community.
In September, we welcomed guests, partners and donors to the Quad-Cities Campus to celebrate the grand opening of the state-of-the-art academic and athletic facilities in Building 3.
The celebration kicked off with Experience BHC, where attendees explored campus, connected with recruiters, and witnessed engaging demonstrations in the biology, chemistry and physics labs.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured live music from the BHC Jazz Ensemble and a complimentary lunch and ice cream, generously sponsored by Russell and DKA.
The ceremony was a defining moment in a year filled with accomplishments, showcasing what’s possible when our Black Hawk College community, along with vision and collaboration come together.
Our combined achievements symbolize more than simply growth — they reflect the college’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence, student success and innovation. Through the combined efforts of the Foundation, donors and the college, we’ve created opportunities that make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and our community and for future generations.
