Dear Black Hawk College Foundation Donors & Alumni,

This past year [FY24-15] at Black Hawk College has shown me what is possible when a community truly believes in its college. From cheering on our softball team at the World Series to celebrating the ribbon-cutting of Building 2 and meeting students whose educational paths were opened through scholarships, I have seen the impact of your support in very real ways.

Your generosity creates meaningful momentum. This fall, enrollment across the district increased by more than 13 percent, placing Black Hawk College among the fastest-growing community colleges in Illinois.

Students are choosing Black Hawk College because they see a college that is welcoming, innovative and focused on helping them succeed. That progress is directly tied to the environments, programs and opportunities you make possible.

New instructional and training spaces are coming online, workforce partnerships are strengthening, and capital projects are enhancing the experience of our students and our community. Your investment ensures that every student, whether entering a welding booth, a transfer pathway, a mechatronics lab or a classroom, has access to the resources and encouragement needed to achieve their goals.

Looking ahead, the Black Hawk College Foundation will play a vital role in supporting scholarships, emergency assistance, academic enhancements and initiatives that help our students thrive. Your commitment keeps Black Hawk College strong, accessible and prepared to meet the evolving needs of our region.
