Patrick Eikenberry

Pat Eikenberry’s career reflects decades of leadership, innovation, and dedication to both the engineering profession and the Quad Cities community. From beginning his career as a civil engineering technician to leading major national growth initiatives, Pat has helped shape organizations, infrastructure projects, and community partnerships throughout the region and beyond.

Patrick Eikenberry From Black Hawk College to Industry Leadership

In 1984, Pat earned an associate degree from Black Hawk College and began his career with Missman Inc. as a civil engineering technician.

Over the following decades, Pat steadily advanced through the organization, serving in leadership positions including director of marketing, office manager, vice president, president, and ultimately president and CEO in 2010.

Under Pat’s leadership, Missman experienced significant growth, expanding from 36 employees to nearly 100 while broadening its services and acquiring four firms. The company also expanded into architectural services, strengthening its presence throughout the region.

In 2017, Missman merged with IMEG Corp., where Pat and his team brought extensive expertise in airport design, roadway design, construction engineering, public involvement, and SSES studies.

Expanding Engineering Innovation Nationwide

As executive vice president of civil engineering at IMEG, Pat has focused on strategically growing the company’s Civil Group across the United States.

Under his leadership, the division expanded from approximately 120 employees across four teams to more than 500 employees working within 18 teams nationwide. This growth helped position IMEG as a leader in transportation, civil structures, water and wastewater engineering, and emerging technologies.

Pat also helped introduce and expand specialized services including geographic information systems (GIS), reality capture and geospatial solutions, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), tribal services, and a fleet of drone and aerial mapping technologies that support projects nationwide.

A Lifelong Commitment to Community Leadership

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Pat has remained deeply committed to civic leadership and community service throughout the Quad Cities region for more than 40 years.

He has served on numerous community and professional boards, including leadership roles with the Society of American Military Engineers, ImpactLife, Quad Cities Chamber, Bettendorf Development Corporation, Robert Young Center, and UnityPoint Health.

Pat also chaired the John Deere Classic and served twice as the ACEC National Director for the state of Iowa, continuing his advocacy for engineering excellence and regional growth.

Through his leadership in business, engineering, and community development, Pat has played an important role in shaping both the profession and the communities he serves.
